Is the price you quote the price I actually pay?
Yes. The range on this page is a guide based on standard installs in our area. After the free survey we put one fixed number in writing, and that is what you pay. The only thing that changes it is you asking for extra work.
How quickly can you get to a breakdown?
We hold slots back every day for no heat and no hot water calls. Ring the office on 01273 565832 and we will tell you honestly when an engineer can be with you, rather than booking you in and hoping.
Which boilers do you fit?
We are a Worcester Bosch Accredited Installer and Grant G1 accredited, which lets us register extended manufacturer warranties that standard installers cannot. We also fit other major brands where they suit the property better.
Do I really get £7,500 towards a heat pump?
The Boiler Upgrade Scheme pays £7,500 towards an air source or ground source heat pump in England and Wales. If your property is off the gas grid and runs on oil or LPG, the enhanced rate of £9,000 is available on eligible installations. The grant comes off your quote at the start, so you never pay it out and wait for it back.
Do you cover my area?
Our base is Upper Hollingdean Road in Brighton and we cover the city, the surrounding Sussex villages and the wider South East. We also run commercial contracts into London. If you are unsure, ring and ask.
Are you insured and registered?
Every engineer is Gas Safe registered and fully insured to work in your home or on site. We are Worcester Bosch Accredited, Grant G1 accredited, OFTEC registered and WIA approved. Clark Stapleton Heating Limited has been trading since October 1992, company number 02758429.
